View Full Version : My brother's accident.

In slippery conditions my brother approached a round about at a fraction over 40 and lost the back end.

Luckily he hit a lamp post on the B pillar and not further forward.

The tame picture.

I haven't got an interior shot but the front seats were pushed together so much there was no space between the two.

As he hit the lampost his glasses flew out the window... which was nice. lol
He has a bruised hip and cut hand and nothing else except a little dented pride.

lovely, if it had hit in the middle of one of the doors it would have pushed in a hell of a lot more.

I cant believe exactly how precise he hit it.
Best case scenario I think.... he even drove it home. lol

It'll T-cut out

Yeh lucky one there, mind you bet he had whip lash? I'd write a letter to the council saying there was some grit on the road and that he has to take time off work. My mate done that on a moped, although it did actually happen, broke his arm, got 9 grand in compensation!

not to mention the council paying more compo jobs and having even less money to sort out the $hitty roads which created the compo jobs in the first place!

That wouldn't be insurance, that'd be council tax going up... again

a 'fraction' over 40

Two fella's in a van that were following stopped and said he didnt look like he was going very fast so I reckon he might have been doing 45. A police car also stopped while he was waiting for my dad to come have a look. They pulled up next to him and asked him if he was alright and whether he had been drinking then when he said no they drove off :O couldnt believe that.

I've been round the same round about doing considerably more speed in the dry and started to skid.

It did crab a bit on the way home and he said he got some funny looks.

I'm just glad he didnt hit any other cars lol.

Heh, thats happened to me before. Dropping off a mate at his house one evening, I'm there on the side of the road as said mate is getting out of the car; copper pulls up next to me, asks if this was my own car, and if I'd been drinking... then drove off! Damn, you know if I'd had a few and nicked the car, I'd have been caught out there...! lol

No need now, its all on the screen infront of them. They can tell you what you have before they pull you. lol

Ah but it was on a round about and they wouldnt have time to run checks as they just pulled straight up and didnt even get out the car.
