Did vauxhall/irmscher ever produce a rhd, e plated car like this?:confused: (sorry for the e-bay link) Thought they were all left hand drive imports?
Also how difficult is it gonna be to find a roof!

Yeah, thats got an aftermarket Irmscher bodykit & grille etc. It was probably sold looking like that but Ive got old Irmscher catalogues full of pics of those bumpers & even a spider with those bits on.
So I'd say its genuine enough.

Had a look at this myself, the roof and supports are missing.
They are no longer available and its not something you can fabricate I'm afraid.
Nice but not worth it as you cant get a roof for it :(
Had to be trailered away aswell as its not run for a few years iirc

Possibly converted, you can do it but you have to chop the bulkhead around a bit and its a little dodgy. Just make sure its been done correctly!

Im planning on bidding to replace My stolen spider, I have bid upto ?600 but no more yet until I see payday!! lol Was hoping this wouldn't apear here as I dont want to pay stupid money for something needing alot of work to make mint again. And having to bid against people wanting it to start to restore and then not finish.
The roof baxter has is for a hutchinson and wont fit, the roof is also missing the support bars these are even hard to replace and in my whole time that ive been into spiders ive never seen a set for sale. With out them you get no support above the doors resulting in the roof sagging and no seal. Also the roll bar isnt secure and may aswell not be fitted.
I think looking at the fact it has a single wiper meens it may be a LHD converted as this is the main way to tell. But I cant go another summer with out a spider so hopefully if no one goes stupid then I may be able to replace F414EWD that was stollen and never seen again!!!

Sorry mate! I don't want to spoil the auction for you! I hope you get it. I thought that there had been one stolen a while back, With it being such a rare car it's bloody amazing that it's not turned up by now. So you've heard nothing at all? gutted for you.

Hi, I live about 3 miles from where it is, and have never seen a spider out on the roads around here. I've seen one of those hutch things.....there is even a hutch corsa b locally. If you need help when you get down here let us know.

Might i be as bold to suggest investing in a tracker of some description, i hope you dont think im trying to be funny by saying that, but im still astounded youve not seen or heard anything from the previous one with them being sooo rare, i never heard of them until yours was stolen, wish you all the best of luck with this one though!!!

Sorry mate, its sat in storage, got other things on the go, I will be looking to start on it mid summer once the other stuff is sorted, Its in a bit of a bad way, sold the front seats to a mate to make some space, wheels still sat there, ?100 anyone? After the last car went and never found I've not posted many pics of my cars on the net so all will be revealed in time lol

wheels are 15s, not sure on make but they are the same as Oz polaris in style, 195 45 15, but offset is about 38 but seem to fit spot on so guess they must be about 6" wide

It doesnt need a great deal of parts, doors are spot on, needs small amount of welding but as a whole its generaly complete. I need to source a brown trim and a few smaller bits, I will keep you all posted but got other fish to fry at the moment, It will be fully built to my usual standard!
Sorry to bring this back to the top? Just happened to come across it. Did it ever get done? Any progress threads?
As said before i think mark is keeping it on hold untill the summer as got to much on at the moment.
