Got myself a calibra turbo which im taking the engine from for my nova. Currently running cav gsi 256mm discs, standard rear drums, gsi brake servo and braided hoses all round. Im going to stick the calibra turbo front calipers and discs on but i just wondered whats needed to convert the rear to discs and if is really needed? Using the car for track days and a little road use
i wouldnt bother with rear discs. too much effort to get the braking effort down to a non locking level

Agreed, without proper bias they are a deathwish.

put the calibra front brakes on and leave it at that, if not done right they are dangerous and in order to make them safe you have to adjust them down so that give about the same braking as the drums anyway. Only do it if you want it for looks.
