Vinnie - named after vinnie jones as he's a bit vicious and also the V pattern on the back of his head.

It is particulary satisfying when the little heads are poking out of the eggs as they take 56 days to incubate.
Got any pics of them eating a mouse lol or isit baby chics u feed them?
Wicked! I always wanted a lil bootlace snake but mother would never let me, i think it was just a childhood dream anyway, besides that my dog probably would of ate it!
Nice snakes Matt:thumb:

Yep every year I breed around 40ish.
This coming year though it should be closer 80. :D
They are really cheap to look after.
The heat pads are low wattage and when they are babies they cost about 30-70p a week to feed and then as adults probably ?1.
I can send you a care sheet if you like mate... tells you everything pretty much.

They get to around 5 foot.
Trojan is a big fella, pretty heavy and 3-4 inches tall at his thickest place.
As a hatchling they have a day old mice (pinkies) its normally just best to keep them on mice for their entire life and just move up the sizes.
Below is one of my hatchlings at around a year old.

Tank size - as hatchlings they can get a bit intimidated by huge tanks with no where to hide. You can put them in a big tank but its harder to find them when your feeding/handling etc. I'd probably buy a small tank and upgrade to a bigger one later...
As for tank furnishings putting plenty of things for them to climb on helps to keep their muscles toned. Half coconut shells are excellent for them to hide inside, plus a coconut cost about 30p. You can buy all sorts of plastic caves and stuff.
