Ok need to put together a list of all possible engine codes including possible transplants.

Off the top of my head the only ones I can remember are:

you can make anything fit anywhere..... but to be fair that engine is a) rare as fook and b ) MEGA expensive if you do find one lol. you might aswell twin turbo a nomal straight 6 from a senator as it would be cheaper (or buy a liner engine lol)

Total Vauxhall is wrong....

it claims the 1400SR is C14NZ - WRONG

that is the code for the 1400 Single point inj engine.....

C14NV is the correct code.....

Few corrections and additions made ;):thumb:
Z20 net is 2.0 veccie c turbo.
X18Xe is in vectra bs only,
X18xe1 is in the mk 4 astra (early with throttle cable) Later cars z18xe
X20 xev is also vectra b and astra g.
Z20lel is astrah turbo (L meaning low output)
Z20Leh is Astrah/ zafira b vxr engine (h being high output)
Y26se is vectra b sri (vauxhall don't produce a vec c 2.6)
Z18xe also in zafira a and b, astra g and h too.

Yep i know this is geeky but i learnt them off by heart cos i can't be assed to open the bonnet when carrying out tech 2 tests!
My personal faves in the nova have to be 10s (bounce those valves) e/c16se (crackin) And of course the c20xe.
