Thinking bout buying anotehr Nova in not too bad nick so i can sort it out for a year (full rebuild) but werent sure what to get, probably 18 with no years no claims when i begin to drive it so what ideas is there of what i can get, thought bout getting a 1.3SR in yellow but coming hard to find ain't they...................mmmmmmmmmmmm any ideas:confused:

Get a mk2 SR... lol no i'm only sayin that because i have 1...
Why don't you just look for a clean standard model (1.0/ 1.2) and with the money you save on insurance you can save up for a bigger engine, then when you come of age to insure a bigger engine put it in... i do love my SR but have been trying to find a clean one (mk 1 or 2) for 2 years to no avail!!

Have a butchers on a couple of online insurance sites - Tesco, Admiral, Elephant etc - to see how much various types of nova (you should be able to manually put the car details in without a reg plate on them) would cost you to insure and go from there.

See what you can find in decent condition as well - far better off buying a mint 1.0 than a shagged 1.3, as lets face it engines are a lot cheaper/easier to swap than the shell and chassis!

ive already got a mark 2 1.4SR lol and yer i know but i will pay reasonable insurance...............
