just bang it on 0.... to be fair most seem to like being stuck at 0 too even after a RR setup...

with it set at 0 the teeth are in a different position to the standard pulley, which is why i asked

0 is just the same as a normal sprocket aint it?

0 isn't the same as the line on the standard sproket, but mine is at 0 until i get it setup on a rr

I just re-drilled the peg-hole in the camshaft using the standard pulley as a guide after I'd set the static timing. No need for a vernier pulley this way.

dont fancy drilling another hole as the pulley is new lol
think ill line the marks up then just move the vernier, but which way would i move it? advance or retard?

My old kent vernier when set on zero was a perfect match for the standard pulley. I know this from when it wore from mucho use and i binned it in favour for the standard pulley, as i have never needed to dial my cam in with it lol lol

iv just fitted mine, it does match up exactly with the standard marks.
i must have been comparing it to one of my other pulleys from a different engine
never mind lol
