Anyhoo, I've used these guys before Ultraleds (http://www.ultraleds.co.uk/default.php?cPath=44&osCsid=28fb767b985f7c8374b4f1ec162b2624)

Not really, funnily enough :p

With the LED ones you *may* need an inline resistor, although I managed to get away without on my front ones. Depends on the flash rate. As Dar suggetsed, UltraLEDs are good, make sure you get the ones with the most LEDs on though so they're nice and bright. Should be about ?10-15 for a pair?

They drive like nutters over there. lol Saw a few modified cars when I went, not too many. That's enough thread hijacking anyway :p

I dont think you can take them apart Dave as the Lense is glued to the reflector bit.

It would break it you force them apart.
They look alright fitted anyway.

Use long nose pliers to rip out the orange filter in bits.
Its usually a fine wire mesh with the orangey bit attached.
Then fit silvertech bulbs (or paint orange bulbs silver).

Ive done it to mk2 lenses before (I was binning them anyway) & some other lenses for friends.

just smash the lens out and leave the bulb lying there to flash away !

I've heard bad things about silvatec style bulbs, that they're not very bright
