After buying the rusty renault last year as a runaround to get me to work after my van was wrote off, well the ren lasted me a year passing the mot with no probs and only needing two new tyres.

A few months back it started making this funny knocking noise,i thought ah a wheel bearing and left it,it got worse and worse, till i though humm its not the wheel bearing so i took in the garage to see what it was, tured out the gearbox was on its way out and the clutch was going to need replacing and new cam belt and in it needed a new tyre and tax was up the end of sep...

So with all that the car was gogint to coast more then it was worth so i ditched it and whent on the hunt for another runner...then though ah sod it buy something better,so looked on auto trader for a deisel car under a grand, first ideas wer lagunas/vectras/406'/306's etc...then i found a nice VW passat and thought ah sod it why not there nice cars..so i did.

It's color is called colorado red and its a 90 bhp TDi SE

Decent amount of car for the money. My dad had a couple Passats, although all I could remember from driving them was being able to wheel spin them like fcuk lol :thumb:

good cars them bud - much better than the new ones, i work for vw / audi and can honestly say the new ones are ****e

get some rs4 alloys on n the bumpers coded, the diesels respond really well to chipping too, make sure timing belt has been done tho to be safe

why not? personal choice at the end of the day - I still like decent daily drivers:thumb:

There's no excuse for the daily drivers not too look nice too.
My fez (recently sold) ended up with clear indicators and a xr2i spoiler.

The mondeo estate (current daily driver) will probably end up with alloys at the very least. Maybe even lowered if I can do it cheap enough. Might even just lower it and keep the steelies.
