How handy are you with your hands chap?
I've just made my own windows with sliders. It's a time consuming bar steward of a job, but it can be done.

A sheet of 1.5m x 2m x 4mm smoked poly carb cost ?95 (unsmoked ?65)
The seal for the front windows ?35 (from www.sealsdirect.co.uk (http://www.sealsdirect.co.uk) )
And stainless nuts and bolts about a fiver.
