Dizzy cap is on the end of the dizzy, with the HT leads plugged onto it.
Thats one under the grill in the pic /\

the grill will probably not be back to best with bumper care to get the best results you will have to paint it

on a serious note you can get some paint for hard plastics that will match the colour

I'd try bumper care first, make sure you give it a few applications and if that doesnt work then try painting it.

Trouble is, if you use the bumper care, you'll need to give it a serious cleaning before trying to paint it.

if it's plastic finish, t-cutting will do **** all

will you not just sand it off anyway when its being prepped for paint?

I'd say a rigorous clean... then try some bumper car, like nova-flair said give it a few coats... might be worth leaving it a few days between coats.

Just spray it & be done with it. Cant see what all the fuss is about tbh. Did you have trouble finding a mk1 grille or something?

Nooooooooo

Keep all T-cut, and wax polishes away from vinyl/plastics, as it dries and leaves white dust all stuck into the marks etc on it, and you can't get it back off.
