noticed the other day i seem to have a different ignition/dizzy setup on the XE ive acquired, im thinking its because ive got a later engine but could be wrong ??

just interested in how much more (if any) complicated this is going to be when wiring the engine up or if i decide on bike carbs/45/48s etc ??

Think you can change it over to the other style of dizzy if you are going to be ditching the loom and ECU (for carbs). One thing i'm not sure of is if the exhaust cam needs changing as it might be shorter and not have the drive for the dizzy in the end.
