Rear wheel bearing

I have been gettig an on/off grinding noise from the back of the Nova. I have changed near and off side wheel bearings + re shelled them and I am still getting an on off grinding noise from the back of the car. Has anyone else had this problem?

Things I thought it could be.

Tightening of the bolt (the one with split pin running through it, its currently 18 lbs/ft)?
brake shoes need replacing adjusting?
brake shoes are binding?

I'd check your brake shoes first matey.

I would say either worn or seized rather than out of alignment.

TBH the only way to know for sure is check.
If you replace them I'd take a digi photo first so you know where everything goes.
