Hi, got a f13 gearbox the other day and just wondering how to check whether it's cr or wr??

Clean up the end plate on the box, you should find a code there, something like 3.74 C. You will have a C at the end if its close ratio, or a W if its wide ratio.

ive just bin out to have a look at it and i couldnt find it?? is it suppost to be on the little rectangle box at the end because if ti is mines got nothing on????

did all vaux boxes com ein CR and WR ?? i might check mine later

Thats where to look, as far as I'm aware all vauxhall gearboxes will have either W or C on them, I know for definate that F10's, F13's and F20's do.
