I am doing an XE conversion into my nova, theres a few things id like to find out about.

I am going to be seam welding the bay soon and am wondering whether to get a strengthing/plating kit, Would this be recomended or is just seam welding the joins sufficient??

Other than the Harry Hockley kits what other kits are available?

Also do any of the engine mounts need moving or modifying? The engine i am getting has already been in a nova so has everything i need, but am stil unsure as whether the mounts that are on the engine will line up to the mounts on the car?

And lastly thing I am unsure about is whether to use an internal fuel pump from a Cav GSI, or could this cause fuel surges? or would an external pump be better? If so can you use a nova GTE/GSI one, or is there an external Astra GTE/GSI one?

Hope someone can help.

Thanks. Ian
