am i right in saying you used to fit car audio?
the reason i ask is because today i was listening to music in my house and noticed that it sounded alot better coming from house speakers! now my next question isnt can i fit them to my car!
is it possible to get a low costing sound system with qaulity sounds? im not stupid when it comes to setting the stuff up but my sound systems have just been middle of the range realy and never been botherd! but in the future i would like a system that gives a good qaulity sound aswell as some good bass! if you have the time to reply any info would be great. thanks

for a start your house dosent make a racket while existing lol and its got reasonable acoustics whereas a car has lots of noise and abismal acousitcs so its a hard battle already.

time was that infinity reference stuff was a good mix of quality and bass, but ive no idea whats what in car audio anymore lol

Hey mate, The answer is yes you can achieve a good sound quality in the confines of a car. The trick is a combination of sound deadening, good builds and location and quality gear. The best setup i have used is A good set of front amped comps and a nice level of bass. I think having an adjustable bass control is also a good idea as well that way you can change your system from quality set up to mega bass at the turn of a dial.

AAAlllsooo, home amps have 240v where as car only have 12v. this means that the amps can colour the sound more and cannot control the drivers as well due to the lack of power, but yes as said it can be done.
