driveshaft lenghts

is there any difference in the lenghts of drive shafts.
iv fitted a nova gsi engine into my corsa nd the shafts seem to fit but i was wondering if the corsa ones are sighlty sorter. and would it be better getting nova ones to use with the engine or are they all the same lenght.
also are the nova ones alot stronger as i snaped the end off the splines last night.i had only been driving for about 2hours, and they were only used to have about 60hp going through them.thanks

yes the corsa shafts are longer than the nova ones due to the fact that corsas are wider. Dont use corsa shafts in a nova or the other way round as you will only mash up the cv joints.

ok kool thanks mate.can i just buy new nova inner cv joints and use the corsa outa joints so it matches at both ends or will it not work like that?

Should be able to use either so long as they arent gsi shafts
