the gearbox has blown but i have got 1 ready to go in so thats not a problem, the turbo smokes abit so i either need a new 1 or recon this 1, the shell is an absolute minter just bubbled abit on the door, underneath i must say is like new, totaly stripped inside with 2 new buckets and harnesses

think the lad said rexy painted this off here?
must say the colour is different but i like it:D

I regret ever selling that car, was mint when i had her. Glad to see it finally has the engine it always deserved.
Oh and blame Rexy for the colour lol

Jesus, that cars had quite a transformation since it was browney red lol

Get that engine out and have the bay and battery tray area painted!

bought it off a lad called jamie from wrexham, ye i want to get the bay painted the same colour and will if i can be botherd, i did pay more than 1300 and no i dont think i was robbed, i will get a pic of the underneath soon so u can all see how clean it realy is! also got a set of 16" black mili miglia's with it

i'd say more like about 1800 -2000 quid would still b cheap


half decent painted 1400's/1600's with very little mod's are making ?1300 over here in northern ireland..


and a bit mnore than that on occasions aswell

No Chance. the car had a knackered gearbox and the engine is smokey (regardless of reason its still smokey at end of day) which means i wouldnt pay half of that :eek:

I'm not saying the seperate bits arent worth a few quid, but thats why people break them rather than selling job lot, as a car they're worth alot less. Thats before they need tearing apart to be repaired cos they are broken etc

A F28 for ?30? I've seen them cost ?200-?300.

Shell still looks very tidy tho, definently get the bay painted.

I dont disagree with that, and with the right abilities/resources as you say it can be sorted on the cheaper scale of things, but that doesnt mean you have to pay more because of the fact. The car is still worth the same, it would just mean your savings should be more.

Either way once done its a nice car and will go very well, which at the end of the day is all that matters. :)

Nahh i disagree. It didnt need a LET at all. it needed a 1600 on weber 40's with gripper, cage and coilover setup with uprated bushes etc etc etc.

jamie the lad i got it from is from chirk sorry not wrexham as i last said, gearbox is an f20 that i am gettin for ?30 not an f28 mate, ye luckily i have alot of sources and can get things done at a good rate

Was comming home with an engine in the back from South wales, Was in the second lane of the m6 and there at the side of us was a pidgeon flying. so we raced it. i was doing about 70 and it was doing about the same pmsl... Was very very random.

I't's going to be the week after next i think pal, I'll ring you anyways and let you know. :D

lol the pigeon was goin well then

ok sound mate gimme a text or a call and will sorth sumin out gotta get a few things done to it but i will get the box done first so it can be moved and try get the mot and tax before hand
