Back from the Cannonball8000

Well finally after 7 days I have returned from Hungary !
It has been a mental week, mainly last weekend due to the mad amount of miles we drove and the parties !
Due to the Capri we were taking doing a headgasket thursday afternoon we took a Clio 172 instead which actually turned out to be a sorted car to take.
Heres a few pics I took from the Cannonball, I'll post up some more when I get them off my camera !

Thanks for the support from everyone, sorry i never got online whilst I was there but we just never had the time.

Also thanks to Dec on the advice with the DJ, it certainly helped although it was fooking roasting in that hall ! lol

A great time was had and I'll be doing it next year for sure !

I agree the M3 Cabrio looks stunning.

I think they are the CSL wheels but the stickers look ace aganst the gold.

No accidents at all, a few breakages and faults for some people, we got one fine although nothing major but a few other had some bribing to do ;) lol

Novacabrio- Deep pockets mate, I was only asked to come 10 days before we left so I had no sponsorship at all.

We have now put our deposit down for next year and I intend to look into some good sponsorship for the event.

Last night was the Ball @ Cafe Royal in London, amazing evening and great to see everyone again. I'll try and find some pics that are worthy of the net.

Off to my bed now to nurse my hangover!

All the parties are free and the drink at the meals is FOC, We were paying for drinks at the clubs etc..

There is enough booze at the meals to get totally wasted anyway.

Overall 67th out of 122 cars

Not bad considering the car and us not entirely knowing what to expect.

Next year we'll be in a quicker car and I'll "try" not to get so pi55ed that I get up late.

My interview with Rob Hallam will be a classic though as I had only slept for 2 hrs out of 30 !

I would of loved to of done it in my old nova but it would need a 6 speed for sure.

I think the Escort will be much more enjoyable but the comfort of the Clio will be missed.
