If thats the same welding helmet that i got with my one, that you have to use one hand to hold up to your face, get rid of it and get a proper one that leaves both hands free.

always look on machine mart for tools like this. they are cheap as chips.

Get an auto darkening helmet, well worth the investment. Especially if your just learning.

just hat to fork out 360 buck for a good one to do the welding on my rear engine project. dont know what i would of done with out it
