HAs any1 run a GTE or similar on a standard f13/f10 box? I'm using an f13 rather than the f13 close ratio! It seems ok, but i know my 4th gear is the same as the close ratio's 5th. Surely im loosing out on acceleration here! Its 2nd gear that is the pain in the arse, coming off a roundabout i haveto wait until im doin 40 before it really starts picking up!

f13 is the gte`s box anyways
f13close ratio is the corsa box

Not according to the haynes ,manual m8! The GTE/GSi run the f13cr, where the SRi runs the f13! 5th on the f13cr is the same as 4th on the f13!

Where`s the stamp on the gearbox? I`ll have a look on my mine (don`t think the gearbox has been changed)

OK, just compare speeds. Think mine says 100 at just below 4000rmp in 5th! Ill check 2morrow!!..
And no, the SRi doesnt! lok in the haynes! The 1.4i has CR, the SRi doesnt!

O yea, i think mine hits the limiter at 89mph in 3rd! And goes off the clocks in 4th!
