Depends if it is clean, have a good old gander, get your magnifying glass out, theres no point buying a rust bucket, i learnt the hard way though:(

800 sounds allright i would just check everywhere for rust and its not a joke get a magnifying glass out and check all over:thumb:. Its so important you get a good clean car on the underneath. Arches are a bugger on novas check for rust and ''knock on the arches'' check for rusty crunching noise. Sri's are nice motors and the engines are bomb proof, you can mod the crap out of the little 1.4 motor. You could ditch the injection sytem and go carbs or throttle body route. But they are quickish in normal guise, they arnt rockets but for there age there brill, 800 quid is good i paid 360 for my sr and it had abit of rust. Haggle the price if anythings wrong tell him and knock the price down. Oh and anouther thing is check the interior if it has the sporty seats (recaro look) check the bolsters for rips and tears. Other than that its straight forward. Make sure its good though cus you could pay more out on repairs than the cars worth

novas suck, they were designed for grannys to drive around and put there shopping into. The SRi version was purly for the old bloke, who wanted to try and woo the older ladies in the 1.2's. The Gsi versions are purly for noncy boy racers like riggy ;) The most common example of the nova is the 2.0l 16v which can virtually be found on any street corner. My advise would be to save yourself from owning a nova as they are aweful cars, drive like absolute poop and look biz. However, if you still want a nova may i suggest you purchase one of the 2.0 16v versions which are more common than a 1.2. Although, if your looking for some form of respect as it were Buy the COUPE model. A very limited edition of 1 was made in baby blue with the common 2.0 16v engine. The where abouts of the COUPE is currently unknown but i belive it could be lerking around the manchester area.

Oh and in relation to your question, SRI's are well fast init. Datz why grandpas pull shexy grandmas Bo!
