View Full Version : A little progress on the new shell
i've been dragging my heals for a while so heres a little update. started buy gutting the interior, including dash, all the inner sills are in good condition thank god, and it looks like the battery tray has been welded up as well, which is good.
i've still got to remove the sound dedening but i trail fitted the cage

as you can see the feet of the cage don't quite line up to the inner arch, so i'll have to adapt it :wtf:
i did the old pinning the bumpers trick

the rear bumper isn't on but you can just make out the pins sticking through the rear panel, i've also fitted the FG tailgate salvaged from my old shell
i've also started making up my own dash, i didn't want the weight of the full dash so i did this
