How hard is it to change a mk1 front end to a mk2? is it just the lights, indicators, bumper and wings that need replacing and is it simply bolt on/off?

Mk1's are getting rare these days as everyone thinks Mk2 look better..... they must be on mind altering drugs or something.

if your thinkin of makin your mk1 look like a mk2 why didnt you buy a mk2?

it would be simpler, i think you should leave it as a mk1 front tbh, they are getting quite rare

im thinking of buying my old van back and putting a mk1 front end on it. ive never seen a mk1 fronted van and its got a gte kit on it minus the skirts. so i think it will look quite smart lol

He obviously prefers the Mk2 look before he wants to change it, its personal taste and its down to him, but if he does go Mk2 going by some replies in this thread he will have no problem in flogging his Mk1 bits!
