Hi i have jus bought a 2.0 16v nova gsi. Can anyone help me with bleeding the cooling system? The engine is out of an astra gte cheers :confused:

Fill the header tank to the mark, turn the engine over a few times, top up if needed, repeat?

whip the temp sensor out of the top of the inlet manifold.......


oh and title your threads appropriately please :D

XE has a bleed valve on the thermostat housing iirc.

Just undo that and let the air out, like doing your radiators at home.
