1400SR is same insurance group as 1400Sri.
And the SRi is better in everyway than the SR.

Thats a bit harsh lol, i dont like to think of any nova being better than another, theyre all novas jus theyre all different lol, had an SR before and it was damn fast, i had 126 (on the clock) and she was still pulling, a mate of mine (brodieSRI) has the fastest 1400 ive ever driven/been in and he only got a few bits and bobs done to it but its really quick, if ya can find a clean one get either, i would!!!

It is better tho? Entirely, Lol.
Well theres not many differences, but it has a better engine., better brakes, and stronger chassis.

I agree if you find a mint sr get that.
Nowadays tho its rare to see a mint sr/sri, mostly late spec 1.2i's.

sri are fast as fcuk my m8 had 1 and it went like the clappers. if you are to get a SR get the 1.3sr thats much quicker than the 1.4sr but the SRI is your best bet. hard to find thesedays though

hmmm... my 1.4sr was faster than my mates 1.3sr and my other mates 1.4sri (not anymore they are both 2ltr:( ), its a standard engine (just got a weber), in fact it beat a gsi off the lights and kept up with it till about 80... but i also put it down to the fact that girls are better drivers!!! i reckon you should got for an sri tho just coz its getting to winter and it will be better in the mornings :thumb: mine takes ages to wake its lazy ass up in the morning (but i haven't got the manual choke couldn't be bothered with it)... bbrrrrrrr!!

I'd have an SRi over a regular 1.4 SR. 1300 would be my next choice but good luck hunting one down....

You get the illuminated sun visors in the SRi.. (ooh)
