Reputation works thus;

If you don't have any reputation points one way or the other, you're unable to influence the reputation of someone else - ie you can approve/disapprove of what they say, but makes not a jot of difference to the score.

If you have a small reputation, you make a small difference to someone if you add/detract from their reputation.

However, if you have a big reputation in either direction, or if you're a mod/admin, you have greater influence when you add/detract from someones reputation.

Why don't you just copy me and put nice, simple Love Me / Hate Me links in your sig so its quick and easy for people :D Oh sorry, you cant do that, i wrote a custom script for myself lol.
