Right the foookin things stoped workin again! This is really rajin me off now. It worked fine all the way to my missus' house. When i got to her street i put my foot down just to see. It stopped! When i turned the ignition on i could hear the little noise the injectors (?) make, and it was also making another noise, a gargling noise just for a second. The engine would turn over but not fire. How do i check if fuel is getting into the engine o.k? & by the way, i have recently changed the dizzy cap + rotor arm and they are both still dry as a bone, i cant hear the spark jumpin to earth or anythin either.

B-) When you become a Taxi driver, is it compulsary to have a lobotomy?

Have you pulled the leads off and put them to the body/engine to test if they are sparking to earth? If you have a spark it is fuel. Could be a cheapo Dizzy cap or rotor arm, check them for carbon scoring where the spark has jumped, you could re fit the old ones as a test?

The buzz is the petrol pump priming up. Spin the engine over for a while and then remove a plug, if it`s soaking wet the fueling is fine and the sparks at faul, if not ypu have a fuel problem.

is it a injection ???? if so i have the same prob, but i know what mine is........................ its the ecu thats fcuked and i only replaced it 6 months ago!!! so i was down at the local vauxhall garage kickin up fcuk bout it

Might sound silly but do u have lots of petrol in? Try pointing ur car upbank, putting more petrol in, turen ur key until the fuel pump primes, then level the car out and try to start it!

It had plenty of petrol in when it connked out i had just filled the tank.
