cav gearbox to a nova... sounds daft lol

i was talkin to a bloke at cruise the other night and he was telling me that he put a cav gearbox on his nova 1600 gsi and he reacons it pulled like **** and made it a lot faster due to the ratio difference, i asked him if it can be done to a 1.3 sr but he wastn sure, anyone know?

The Cav uses 'big block gear boxes' as found with the 2.0 8v. i don't think the cav box will fit to the nova 1600 lump.

only the gearbox from the 16SV engined cavvy will fit IIRC due to it being the only small block engine used in the cavs...
