My Nova

Just though I'd post my wee proect up for you's to have a gander at.

Bought this last Jan from the mainland and brought it back to N.I.

It's a Merit shell with a genuine 1300 nova sport engine. The engine was the main reason I bought it and the fact that its near imposible to find a clean Nova in N.I

Here's how it looked when I brought it back.

When I brought it back my first intention's was to give it a general spit and polish and get it on the road....
I origionally only really wanted to spend a few hundred quid on the car, but as usual, one thing lead to another etc etc
Eventually I thought, **** it. If im going to do it, I may aswell do it right.
Over the months, more and more part's were bought and soon the hundred's I intentially wanted to spend, turned into thousands. oh dear....

And then the car eventually came to this:

At the moment, the car is currently away getting a full respray and the engine is mid-way of being rebuilt.
Im hoping to have the car back from respray within the next week and a half, so watch this space

It's getting sprayed gloss black and i've a set of cesaro's off getting sprayed white at the mo aswell;)

Will look nice. I'm sure I speak for many members but I'm surprised you lost the mustard yellow paint. Hard to find Novas that colour now & it seems to be a sought after colour these days.

Good luck & keep us posted esp when you get it back from the paint shop.

Ach, I like the yellow myself, but there's just something about black nova's, if you get my drift:D
As soon as it come's back from spraying ill have new pics up ;)

Naw chap, im keeping the early dash, but what do you need, I mybe have it lying around the house.

Yeah it was on ebay, but I agreed on a price and the owner ended the auction early.
