Hello my fuel gauge reading is nearly always on 1/4 or less even if it is full what could this be ?????? one the rare occation it goes up but most of the time its on 1/4

sender unit in your petrol tank could be stuck or knackered

It could also be the gauge....but it's usually the sender.

How much could i pick up a sender for and is it easy to change

The probably cost around ?10 - ?15 but you must handle it with care when you are mounting it in your fuel tank as it will easily F*!# up!

I think they bolt on from underneath, the old one will be covered in many years of road salt so be carefull not to snap anything when taking the old one off.

I have a complete fuel tank with sender unit! U can buy it if u can collect from stoke!!
