what gear box is best suited to the 1.3sr?

the 1.3sr box which is the f10 5 speed

f13 gte/gsi box will go with sum fannying about but its not worth it

if your after acellaration then stick a f10 4speed in but you willl loose lots ov top end speed

so my 1.2l 4 speed w.anky box has better acceleration than an SR gear box?-that means I could see of my mates 1.2l5 speed at the lights but he would have more top end?-sorted,I'll race him down hill?:>

What about the 5-speed wide-ratio box.....how does that compare to the 5-speed close-ratio, and the 4-speed??

I hane an F10 gearbox sitting in my garage. It's been tested at 52K and total milage on the box is only 53K.

?50 and it's yours.

The F10 gearbox I have is from a 1.3sr (5 speed + reverse).

I would say that this is the same gearbox as the one from the 1300 astra van/estate.;)
