Have many people done it? How difficult is it to do? Do you think its a good idea or not?
A few have done it, take a look at Joff-turbo-nova's wip thread in general chat. That should give you an idea.

i might look at doing it next time im at my car
Yeh it looks fairly easy, ill give it a go soon enough, got a fair bit of money about at the moment to do it, its just getting round to doing it

I reckon the angle should be fine il let you know when i get the bloody thing running and i have to visit the petrol station lol lol lol
I just used a Flexible fuel hose from ATL as per Karl Rowntree's suggestion.
lol
i like the flexihose idea, thats what i was thinking, or straight in the top of the tank ??

yeah cool
In the windscreen, back up down the piller, across the dash, back up the other piller, along the roof diaginally, then straight down from the centre of the roof in the middle of the car in clear perspex tube? lol

Im sure you have to have a fire wall if it goes throught the window, could be wrong though
i was thinking about relocating the fuel filler to the rear quater window, it would look really cool lol

How about a clear tube... with another secret clear tube inside that one with some led's or neons in ;)
I have often thought about a flip up number plate with the fuel filler underneath... just couldnt be bothered to work out how to do it properly.

Joff
nice mod, but the thought of the car stinking of petrol puts me off a little

The car shouldnt stink of petrol it will be on the outside of the door rubber
Joff, have you any Pics of the filler without the Cap on it? I'm a bit concerned as how to leave it so the filler cap sits flush with the door close.

Ace, how did you recess it so much, or is it a custom jobbie, also, which Fuel cap are you using?

Its a fuel cap from Demon Tweeks, and i cut the hole to the exact size of the fuel cap and welded it, and fibreglassed it in place. It aint going anywhere!!!
Nice one mate. i'm inspired now.
