Driveshaft Problem Maybe???

Whel i pull away there is a sort of grinding noise coming from the left hand side of the engine bay. The noise is not very loud but seems to be constant. I looked under the car and the near side CV gaiter is leaking so that needs replacing. Am i right in thinking its probably the driveshaft thats making a noise??

its probly the CV thats knackered, replace that and the boot/gaiter quickly before you damage the shaft too.

as above...check the inner and outer to be on safe side

If its clicking grinding it will be the outer joint.

Its usually the opposite one to the way you turn when the noise happens.
I.e. you turn right and the noise happens, then its the left outer cv.
