twin 40 webers

Hi everyone.

ive found some twin 40's for sale, it says they have a round pot manifold on them that came of a gte, will this fit on my 1.4sr or will i have to get the proper manifold for the engine? how much shuould you expect to pay for a set of these that are in average condition?

The inlet ports wont match your SR engine, you could fit a c14se(sri) head to your SR bottom end, and then it would match.

A set of 40s with the inlet usually goes for around ?150 ish.

These are up for ?300 which i though was abit steep but i wasn't really sure. thanks for the other info.

Do they have the throttle linkage etc too?

there on ebay, there isnt any pics or much info on them, it says they came straight of a gte so i can only assume. ive asked for some pics but aint got any yet.
