wiring a astra gte engine up

hi everyone

has anyone got a wireing diagram to wire a astra gte up, its going into a 14sr, will i need a differnt tank on it can any one help please?

you will need tank and pump from nova gte/gsi for sure

Theres only 5 wires on the GTE 16v injection loom that need to be connected to make it run. This should all be done under your bonnet.

If you end up cutting more than that etc then you are doing it wrong.

green to green
thick red/blue - fuel pump
thick red in bay to batt
blue to blue
can't remember colour for ecu light off my head, but connect that to the choke light wire, and put the bulb in the ecu light holder.

alrite mate just done a conversion myself 14sr tank is fine just get a external pump astra gte 16v or 8v or you can get good pumps of the net go on ebay and as for the wireing mate it is well easy wire the red to the battrey and there is a black with a yellow stripe in the gte loom connect that to the live that switches on with the ignition and you should hear the relay click when you turn the ignition on the wire was black on mine and was connected to the coil however mine was a 1.2 spi and connect the rest as above any problems give me a ring when you are doing it and i should be able to talk you through it mate 07871655386
