1.4 carb's

would a carb from a 1.4 fit on to a 1.2 engine because i've got a 1.4 carb which looks exactley the same and all the pipes look the same I think the only difference is that it has more jets so would it put to much petrol through or would it work just fine. b-)

is it a peiuburg 1b or a 2e
the 1b will will just be a rejetted version ov the one you have, the 2e will give better performance but you will need to swap the inlet manifolds over and sort out the water pipes for the auto choke

the one I have on is a 2e and the one i've got is a 2e so do I still need to do those things ?

a 1.2 engine shoulnd have a 2e carb fitted so sumbody must have done in the past

u may have a 1.3 spec carb or a 1.4 spec carb

either way you will see no improvement in power if you change between the 2e carbs you have uless one is fucked

that is exactley why i am changing them but also i have a 1.4 engine which i am going to put in soon i hope
