i have just purchase a top end of a nova sport it was running with a 1.4 bottom end
can i use the bottom end of a carbed 1.4 or can i you and injection bottom end and then what head gasket would i buy 1.3 or a 1.4
or am i best just getting a 1.3 bottom end

Use the headgasket to whichever bottom end your using.
1300 headgasket on 1300 block etc.

You can use a carb'd bottom end, or injection.
