One for all you guru's of networking amonst us here.
My laptop has built in 801.11g and I connect to the internet through a linksys wireless router. I am currently at my parents whilst they are on holiday and it has been connecting fine. I came in from work tonight to find the router turned off, probably due to the power cut we had when iwas at work. Now when I try to connect my laptop it just keeps trying to acquire an address, it never comes up with limited or no connectivity like it has done sometimes before.
I have tried restarting my laptop a few times, restarted the router a few times too, i have also disabled the wireless connection on my laptop and restarted, with no avail.
I am currently using my parents desktop machine, connected via wireless to the said router and it connected fine straight away.
Any ideas please?
Chris
