whats the capacity of the brakeing system on the 92> novas?? will DOT 5 fluid be ok or should i use DOT 4??

Dificult to say on capacity, it depends how easily it bleeds up, 1Litre may be pushing it, I always get 1.5L or 2L and have loads left.
