whats the difference between nova gte engine's and the gsi engines??? i need to know as im gonna race one hopefully so wanna be clear on the rules of the engine i use. cheers

Generally there isnt any, most use the e16se
SOME later GSis had the c16se engine whcih was CATed and used a slightly different induction system.

If its for racing then I guess it wouldnt matter if you de-cat'd it anyway.
Assuming both are 100bhp - would a decatted C16SE make slightly more power than a std E16SE?

Thats a fair point acutally jack.
The c16se does make more power than the e16se.
Not much difference between them tho, AFM on e16, map sensor on c16 etc.
The e16se did have a change or two, it changed management iirc on the later ones. I think some early ones didn't have a ecu light either.
Apart from that there the same.
