gte dash please help

ok ive now got all the parts 4 the mod and read the artical @ http://www.novauk.homestead.com/ my prob is in that artical it says that there is 2blue and black wires on the white plug but i only have one but i do have a blue and red wire?? please can anyone help as i dont want my baby to go up in flames and dont think my insurance will be 2chuffed or if there is anyone in the wigan area thet can come and give a hand 4 some cash, (and u can sh*g me wife!! but only if i can video it only kiddin):D

I'll check the colours of my wiring tomorrow....'cos mine where slightly different. I can't think off hand though.

I didn't use the guide I first read, 'cos the LCD dash I got, was being taken out of a Nova, so all I did was snip the Nova wires, then used them as a guide, for wiring into mine. Easy peasy.

Take a look at the guide at this link:

and see if that wiring diagram is any different, to the one you've looked at.
That guide above, is the I used to check that all the wire colours matched up.

I'll draw a diagram of my wiring tomorrow if I get the time (which I should have spare), and post a link here.

rich i dont know who u r?? but your a top man so u r. ahh thats a better site that looks more like it, once again thanks 4 your help happy driving, what car do u drive?? ive got a H plate nova sr that i got from salvage cost me ?425 had f*ck all wrong with it and cost me ?50 incl the MOT to get back on the road :D <--- me well chuffed nice car as well only had 2 female owners, so far ive had a G MEX suspention kit on it back head rests, GSI grill, and got rid of that sh*t black stuff off the boot, ive just orderd some seat splitters and its got a nice set of LX cav alloys on it, look nice if i do say so myself, anyway thats me going on a bit so im off i know ive said it b4 but thanks again

Just wire all the like wires together.Blue-blue, black-black etc.
