windows etched with number plate

is it possible to get nova windows that HAVEN'T had the number etched on ??

Can you still get new ones from the dealer? I'd assume they'd not be etched...

I have a feeling you can get the etching removed, as I'm sure someone on a local kroooze forum had it done locally. I could be wrong though, it was a while ago I read about it!

I'm getting some brand new ones from my mate who works for a Windscreen replacement company.

You can get glass polish and a buffer, but the window etch is quite deep so will still be visible.

the last few that i have had have had no no plate on them if thats wat ur meanin?or do you mean any etching?

Not all Novas have the reg etched in the glass, i managed to find a complete set of glass from a GSi which didn't have the reg number etched in, it did have some other random numbers (security code ?) etched in tho.
