nova turbo diesel

hi there, trying to increase the power of my nova turbo diesel without having to do any major engine modifications. can anyone help?

i had a pug 306 dturbo-s, the non cat one and i had that running about 120bhp.

if yours has a mechanical fuel pump you can advance it, adjust the wastegate on the turbo to get more pressure, and then adjust the boost compensator on the pump.

you will see lots of black smoke (unburnt fuel) when you come on boost...

if you can get me a pick of you pump and turbo i'll have alook to see what needs to be adjusted. my pump was a lucas and my turbo was a kkk.
