Ha i couldn't really give a **** where the exhaust hangs out ! I'm more concerned about how well it goes, thanks
lol, liking the no spoiler look aswell
I like the first two pics. Makes the red look a shade lighter...

ooooooh now you've got me started ! :thumb:
I've Ordered a set of Big Valves for a 1600 Head, and i'm going to slowly build up monster 1600 head, with alot of help from someone !
I'l probably end up with some 320deg cam or something daft !
Then i'l strip it, maybe look into getting the shell Dipped (i.e the Nova Sport chap on JOV) !
Get it all bare-shell Sprayed, Leave it stripped, cage 2 nice Bucket seats (like jims ?) And then go do some Hill-climbs/sprints in it !
I think i'm going to keep the colour too....

Ah, if the brown were a shade lighter, what colour would that make it !? eh jack !? ;)
getting the shell dipped ?? what would this do ??

Ok on a very very Clean shell like he's using, just not too sure how much of a shell i'd be left with after having i acid dipped lol
It's just a lazy and more efficient alternative to completly Stripping a shell i think, plus as he says, it removes alot of corrosion from places you can't see ! It's worth it if you've got the cash and can't be ****d ****ing around again in 5 years time !
i look/register tomorrow methinks

I think it would become a very tasty shade of red :D

cheers mate, not to far from me either and if im gonna do it may aswell do it properly, altho the back end might disappear !!
it aint cheap, and no point doing it on a shell that's shot !
Im loving that first piccy!

very nice mate, nice and simple how i like them.
Flame red !?
Nah, bit darker than that :D
Anyway flame red is for gay boys lol
nova's looking great nick, the plans for it sound great, i can't believe you've bought another car, how many cars have you got now lol ?
Sweet, nice pics, car looks great, i like the spoilerless look on yours too!
I wouldn't get the shell acid dipped personally, your never going to be able get the same level of rust protection inside the chassis etc that the acid has stripped away, as when it was made.

Oi, just coz it fades to pink - it's fine lol
mmmmm, i wonder what colour red you could be on about? - again!

Acid dipping - saw this on American hotrod a while ago.... very good results but highlights ALL holes in your shell.
Other alternative is to have the entire shell shot blasted and then powder coated. I think my younger brother got a price of around ?1800 for this for a mini traveller.
lol i knew you'd say that ste, our cars are well similar now ! lol
