i am looking for a bit more power out of my little 1400 spi autotest car. It is just standard right now and not wanting to lots to it though. Will a webber 32/34 fit on it and a 1300 head? I know they go on sr's but are they different for the spi's. Any other advice would be appreciated?

Ye the 1300 head will go on with a 32/34 weber, the SPI block is basically the same as a 1.4sr block.
You'll also need a carb dizzy,coil tho too.

And would need change the fuel pump setup for a carb, use a carb pump, or a regulator with the electronic pump.

i have decided to put twin 40's on with a 1300 sr head, highlift cam and a 4 branch manifold. What all would i need to do this and what will i need to know or remember when doing this? I know i need the linkages for the carbs and a inlet manifold to suit but what else?
