Spent today sanding down and preping my steelies for painting, as i aint getting alloys cos 1. can't afford them 2. im only 17 and likely to kerb 1 3. i like the steelies too, so i started spraying them in ford grapphite grey, which aint that bad a colour, but thought id personalise them with breeze blule vauxhall badges on the centre caps, will post more pics up when i get some finished ones.

I like them, think depending on what colour the car is on what colour you should have the wheels, i seen some on a black nova, was really low, black and white the wheels were, same as them, i thought it looked ace! Yeh i like them personally, also give it that oldschool touch thats needed, especially on a mk 1

I have a full set with alright tyres and centre caps stuck in my garage/shed you can have them if you want but dont know what price to offer??? nothing silly but you can have them for a good price. They dont fit my car now as i have big 16v brakes on now!!!

Theres a set like that in the scrapyard near me! Southbourne nr Chichesters a bit of a way to go though!

ive got a white sr wioth no grey decal, so i thought they'de look good too, will post pics up soon of what they look like finshed and on the car

Steels are the future. I've a set of 15" Vectra Steels on my Nova Van. Ace they are.

Spray the rims Silver and the centre Griffen the same colour as your car. I sold a set of those ages ago and i really wish i didn't

Are they 4 or 5 stud steels? I cannot find any 4 stud 15x6 Assta 4 steels for love nor money!

Yeah they're 4 stud. IIRC, they may be 6.5" as well??

early vectras had 15" 4stud so its not just astras to look on. also i think corsa Cs have them too - im on the look out all the time for some.
