well after much consideration my best mate decided that his poxy pioneer sub was crap and about on its last legs and after purchasing an alpine dvd flip out screen with ipod adapter 6 disk changer sat nav and seperate dvd player it seemed as if a random sub chucked in the boot of his polo run around realy wasnt up 2 the job so he came 2 me with a plan
after a day or so searching the net for ideas we got 2 work

so wee took 1 of these

then the screen mount was made and the side pannels that will house the satalite navigational dvd player were made and added

then the retriming began the most fun part not

choice of material was black and cream suade

the first stage was trimming and sanding all sharpe edges of once all edges had been sanded we cut some foam and covered the top board

i did that for a drink as he is my best mate but if ur interested i can sort summin out im looking to have a another crack at using fiberglass just want a geuniee pig so 2 speak lol

also looking 2 start a buisness in the near future just need the premasis (sp)
planing on tidying up novas custom installs 2.0l conversions servicing and and genral maintinance including body work and race prep for 1300 saloon stock so if ur serious send me a pm

Steporter - Thats not bad mate. You obviously paid attention in woodwork.

Fair play if you can set a business up.
Might be hard attracting enough customers to start with as its all about reputation. You could do with building a car specifically aimed at the mags and then doing the boot install for maximum exposure.

Dalcoluke - I like the dash pods. Who did the airbrushing in the fez?

the buisness is not audio specific its mainly gona be servicing general modification as stated race prep ect and audio and parts fitting but wana have a go at turning my hands 2 everything u can posibly do with a car in time but besides that its not just gona be a labouring kinda buisness there will be a shop and show room aswell 1 of the ppl i hope is comming in on it as a partner used 2 work for powerflow so custom exhausts ect are also on the cards

hopefully all beeing well i will have the capital and a place 2 get it all set up withing the next few weeks will keep u posted if it happens cause the opening day will be an open day with show and shine comps ect

delco i must say very nice i like them but the 1 we did we did was on a budget of 200 quid and that included buying 2 subs how much would the 1 in the polo have cost if i was gona have it done? front components ect alone at a guess would be more than our budget

the shelve is going is going and an uncut 1 when sourced is going in as it has rear components but the shelve is left in untill a standard 1 is found
