my old nova on ebay

my old nova is on ebay and im thinkin of buying it back! when i bought it i was going to use it as a runaround for a few weeks! 4 months later my friend bought it off me! i kaned tha motor absolutely everywhere! it was always being revd past the redline and doing burnouts! i was a complete ****er in it! but it just never broke down! in fact it is for sale with the same engine that i sold it with! now obviously knowing how i treated it does put me off however i know it has a strong shell! what does everyone think to me buying it completely stripping and rebuilding as a 2 litre? would you say its a good idea or bad idea baring in mind im no mechanic but willing to have ago??
it would need a respray aswell!

if your planing on a 2.0ltr then a fudged 1.2/3/4 engine is hardlry a problem.
a good shell is hard to find so if all parts are strong and rust free then it seems a good investment.
