just found out that my rear wheel bearing is going and the noise is doing my nut in so how hard is it to change? gona but a kit of ebay will it be okay and is it everythinh i will need? thanks

... and a big socket the same size as the bearing helps to beat it out lol

for a rear you actually need a punch/drift to get the old bearings out ;)

It will just fall out when you remove the drum, well, mine did anyway,Lol.
Then replace with the new one, but make sure you dont overtighten the nut,Lol.

I wasn't changing the bearing, i was removing the brake drum.

But the bearing just fell out, must have just been the roller bearing tho, not the other bit.

the rollers and inner race will fall out, but the outer race needs knocking out and the one fitting

That explains it then, the part that fell out when rolling down my drive :p Lol

a punch.. its a rod of metal that you can hammer to get stuff out.....
a drift is very very similar
